The first Hungarian RoboCup Junior was organised in 2007. Our aim to start the national competitions was to join the RoboCup Junior International Community. RoboCupJunior(RCJ) is a project-oriented educational initiative that provides local, national and international robotic events for young students up to the age of 19. It is designed to introduce RoboCup to primary and secondary school children, as well as undergraduates who do not have the resources to get involved in the senior leagues of RoboCup. The focus of RCJ is on education.
